Rosa Alpina first opened in 1850 when a vidum - a parish priest house - was built using a donation made to the Church by a prosperous San Cassiano family. Parishioners operated a small restaurant and offered lodging to guests. A known symbol of hospitality in the village of San Cassiano - the hotel has been part of the Pizzinini family since 1939. Today Hugo and Ursula Pizzinini carry forward this legacy as the historic hotel becomes a full Aman property following an extensive renovation.
