Harbourview is a purpose-built 4* Bed and Breakfast Tairua on the Coromandel east coast, five minutes walk along the waterfront to the town centre, with great views across the tidal harbour to Mount Paku - a twin-coned volcano, It makes a great base from which to explore local beauty spots like Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach, each only 25 minutes away. There are three ground floor bedrooms, all with private bathroom, beach towels and bathrobes; two with King Beds, A/C, SKY TV, private terrace and harbour views. The third, with a Queen Bed, is at the rear and opens onto the garden. the ground floor guest lounge, with fridge, microwave, TV, library, tea and coffee, also opens onto the subtropical garden, pool and bbq area. Breakfast - buffet and/or cooked, home made and locally sourced - is taken in the first floor lounge, with mountain views and Coromandel planning maps. There are two bikes and kayaks for guest use, free Wi-Fi and off road parking. The nearby Tairua town centre has several excellent restaurants and a good ranges of shops, a beautiful Pacific beach, local walks, golf course, marina, fishing club. German and French spoken.
