Hostels By Nordic opened its doors in January 2010, renovated with modern facilities and completely new toilets and showers. The hostel is ideally located on Stockholm's main shopping street, Drottninggatan, and is within walking distance of Stockholm's main cultural and entertainment district. Guests at the hostel have access to free WiFi internet and there are 2 computers for guests to use. Tea and coffee facilities are also provided for free and each bed has bed linen provided on arrival. Each of the 52 beds in the hostel are spring mattresses with overlay mattresses and are divided among double, 4-bed and 6-bed-room. All rooms make use of shared toilet and shower facilities and a lobby area is equipped with sitting area, TV, and a guest kitchenette.
